• I still think the world would be much better served by having EVERYONE stick to one time and get rid of time zones completely. We even already have the system, Zulu time, that militaries use. Sure it would take some getting used to, as depending on where you are in the world, you might be going to work at 5pm or something and one part of the world would be dark at 0500 while another part is light, but it would be so much more efficent for computers and inter-person communication since there would be no more having to figure out if they are behind or ahead of you in time and how far ahead or behind. You could say "0930" and it would be the exact same time for someone halfway across the world.

If you want to a bit more per use it’s in the eastern part of south London, so it’s in SOUTH-EAST London. The part of Greenwich you’re in is SE10 after all. Ha that made me chuckle indeed!

    trelauneytrelauneyMánuði síðan
    • I considered that, but all the number plates etc would have been backwards, and we’d have had to print the label backwards. Also, if we’d made the effort to put the car on the right side of the road, it would have just drawn attention to the fact that the background looks nothing like Arizona, and Mark’s accent doesn’t sound American. I think it’s funniest and most cost effective to deliberately put no effort at all into hiding our Englishness.

  • 2:24 The reason why Arizona is like that is because reservations have a lot of independence to decide on local laws. Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving time. But the Navajo Nation does observe it. Technically that's not part of Arizona but it's own thing. It exists as an exclave inside more states that do observe it. The Hopi though, the enclave inside the Navajo Nation, do obverse daylight saving times. I visited the Arizona part of the Navajo nation during DST, and businesses on either side of the border will post their hours in both times, and basically anything scheduled uses both. They usually call it Navajo and Arizonan time.
