Old Crime Meets New Crime | The Gap

The Gap is a window into different lives and different generations.
Two people, of vastly different ages, discuss a shared experience that impacted their lives, how it affected them and how they dealt with it to ultimately emerge stronger.
In this episode of The Gap, Noel, a former bank robber, sits down with Cornai, a former drug dealer, to talk about their lives as criminals. Through their conversation we learn about the way in which both men protected themselves from violence, the things that kept them sane behind bars, and the opportunities that gave them a second chance.

  • The young kid isn't really a criminal. Like he's just a not so smart kid who wasn't educated properly. The old man is a true criminal, the way he speaks, he totaly knew what he was doing. Knew the risks, went with it anyway, could've been a good contribution to society if he chose so, I guess.

Praise people that didn't need to stal from others, praise people that always had respect regardless of their background.

It teaches you how to annotate a poem and not how to buy a house, get a job or pay your taxes. People resort to crime becuase you don't know how to live by the law if your not taught how to.
