  • In Denmark, tips are not are common. Maybe at some restaurants they'll have a jar of coins with a note saying "thank you :-)" but that's it... Tipping is a very strange concept to me. Like i get that if someone genuinely did a good job and you wanna show them gratitude, go ahead. But if you got a job, you already have more money than me! I can't afford that shit

  • I live in Portugal and never saw anyone tip anyone in my entire life. This is coming from someone who’s mother works at a restaurant, she was only tipped once and it was by an American. We really don’t tip in Portugal because the wages for people working in costumer service aren’t that bad
